Marcela and her family are here from Ecuador. You got a talking baby from Tia Carla. Mermaid car from Grandparents. We stayed the weekend at Grandparents house in Portland.

We went to WA for halloween. We went to Mom's old neighborhood that she grew up and trick n treat there. It was fun to see the old house. Grandma Kathie and Aunt Katie came with us. You really did not know what to do or what we were doing. You were a little tiger that year. I mainly got it because it was a warm costume because normally halloween is very cooled.

Today it is 106 degrees you slept in your crib with a wet towel on and fan blowing on and your Dad and I lsept on the floor in your room because it was the coolest room in the house. Obviously we did not have AC.

Your birthday. We went to Shrine Circus and you wore an outfit that said 1st birthday. We are going to have your birthday party on the 27th. Which then we went to the World Beat Festival that was going on in Salem River Front Park. Also Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died on your first birthday. It was 83 degrees on your birthday. We had it at Orchard Heights park near Mimi's house in West salem.

Well life has been busy so I have neglected my blog for a while. But it is Majenta's Birthday month WOW I can't believe she is turning 1 already. So we did a little party share with her brother June 6th in Portland and I will put those pictures up. But we are also planning a little gathering here in Salem on June 27th so that is fun. So I will be putting those pictures up also and of course I will have to do a little photo shoot for her 1 year pictures. So this is just an update for whoever is watching our blog. We love you and hope to keep up for now on how our life is going.

We went to see your brother play soccer. We also went to the park and sat on the grass for the first time at least with me. I am not sure if you had with Mimi but you didn't know what to think about it. You also used your sunglasses. You like to dance sometimes.

We watched the space shuttle go up to the ISS (international space station) to put solar panels on. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Grandpa Eds birthday. While we were their Zoila was clicking her tounge at you and you tried to mimick her.

Went on a carousel ride at Salem River Front Park you rode a horse named "Gigi". You liked it for a while but then you did not like that the horse was going up and down.

Dad came home from Ecuador and I was visiting teaching with Renee Montez and we went to a ladies hows where she had a little boy and he sat next to us on the couch and bit your middle finger on your left hand. You got very upset of course. We all felt very sad that he bit you but apparently he does that often.

Majenta loves to make noises with her hands and mouth. She likes to blow on my arm to make noises. Also she loves when I pretend my hand is a bird and fly it over her face. She gives big smiles when I do that. She is moving around a lot but you are not official crawling yet and u still cannot roll from your back to your tummy but you love to eat your toes and trying to steal your mom's blackberry to chew on.

Together at Last

Birthday Weekend

My wonderful sister's Jessica, Katie, and Sister in law Taylor put together a great weekend for me. It was wonderful. For one Jessica came up from Arizona with her daughter Reagan whom I had not met in person yet. That was fun to get Majenta and her together. Then we just hung out and on Sunday night we had my Birthday Dinner. Which Jessica made Fajitas. Then the next day we had a Birthday Breakfast









After that they blind folded me and walked me all around the house to try and confuse me and we ended back in my Mom's house and they had setup a "in house" salon where my sister Katie gave me a wonderful pedicure. It was so wonderful. After that they took me to the Olive Garden for my Birthday Lunch which I had to wear a crown that said Birthday Princess on it. They also sang to me. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
