Oregon Fair Outing

Majenta with her cute Leggings. Here is a wonderful picture of her blue eyes. Lorre, Majenta's babysitter took her to the Oregon fair. They saw a clown show and ate some huge fries. She had a really good time. It was a perfect day for it. Not to hot not to cold. Just right. I think it is wonderful that Lorre takes pictures for me of my baby Majenta while I am not around so I can see all the cool things she gets to do.

Two Month Photos

We had a really good time taking pictures. The afghan that she is on was made by Great Grandma Smith. Thx Grandma. The dress was given to us by Grandma Kathie. Thanks I love the Hot Pink.

She loves the camera. I have one of those camera's that shows a orange light first to show my flash is ready and she just starts smiling when she sees that. She also follows my camera around when I am video taping her. Watch out Hollywood.

SHE HAS ARRIVED

Well "Jenna" Majenta Isabela Barberan has arrived. She was born 6-25-08 at 11:55PM 6 lbs 10 oz. We are very excited to have her in our life. She is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Everything went great we just had one little problem to keep us from going home. The nurse came in to give Majenta the shots she needed they notice that her skin was yellow. This is a sign of Jaundice they say it is normal in infants but it is more high risk when it is coombs positive which she is. So they put her on Phototherapy which was only suppose to be for 6 hours but someone did not set it for the highest setting so she had to stay in there longer which ended up being 14 hours. I did not like it very much because I could not hold or feed her when I wanted to. Also the longer I would hold or feed her the longer she would have to stay under the light so I was kind of sad. But it is all over. She is doing fine and we are happy to be home.

I love these pictures they are so funny looking it looks like she is getting a tan. The other one makes her look like a alien or bug.

WELCOME HOME MAJENTA

Still Waiting

Well I just thought I would write because it has been a while. We are still waiting for Majenta to come and join us. So far I don't have any contractions or braxton hicks. I feel pretty normal. So we shall see when she will feel like coming out. I am going to the doctor every week now. We have packed our stuff that we need for the hospital. I just need to put it all in the car. I am going camping with my friends this weekend because it is suppose to be nice. The place we are going to be is closer to the hospital than my house so I am not worried if I go into labor over there. It will be fun to go out with my friends one last time without having to worry about a baby. I know it is going to be a big change in my life which I am excited for. So we will try and keep you posted. I am sure I will put something up right away when she is born because we are just so excited. Last Baby Shower

Well I had my last baby shower yesterday. Now we are making sure we have everything and just waiting for little Majenta to arrive. This is me on my way to the baby shower along with Ruben and Lucciano. We are all excited for her arrival.

I went to a bellydancing event the other weekend so I had a local henna artist draw on my belly and hand so I could show off at the event so here are some pictures.

8 Months Pregnant

As you can see I have been slacking off a bit on the blog. But here I am back and ready to be more informative about what is going with the Barberan Family. I am working on scanning the last pictures of our baby's ultrasounds. I might be able to figure out how to put the quick video that they gave me of her moving. Also we had some 3D ultrasound pictures taken so I need to scan those in also. To catch up on what is going on with us right now is no real news. Ruben is still working on Crazy Fuego our Web and Graphic Design company which is going well. I am still working and will up until the day I have the baby because I have been feeling fine so there is no reason for me to be at home right now. I have put together everything for the baby room the only thing we need left is the stroller and car seat but Grandma Kathie said that she was going to get that for us. I think I have un-officially found the name for our baby girl. Let me know what you think Majenta (yes, like the color but spelled different) Isabella Barberan and I was thinking Jenna for a nick name. I thought it was cute. Lucciano is excited for the baby to come he is going to be a big help when the baby comes. He will be 6 June 8th and he keeps saying after his birthday he is going to have a baby sister. We added another member to our family a month or so ago to give our chihuahua Spike someone to play with her name is Ella she is another chihuahua. They have a blast playing together.

5 months Pregnant

Well just an update. I am starting at my fifth month to take monthly pictures of my belly to put pictures in a frame for a time line. Here is my 5 month pic



I am going to get my ultrasound this Friday Feb. 15th in the morning so we hope to find out if it is a boy or a girl. We are very excited.
